Gmail Becomes Somewhat Native to the iPhone

Somewhat means you get the functionality of the native mail service/app that comes with the iPhone allowing you to archive messages easy with the swipe of a finger. Google has worked hard to improve their web app to allow such functions and with that comes their improved Gmail service. It isn’t global though, for the app has been made available for English users for the time being but they would surely be in for a short wait.
Google has been criticized as lacking in the field of advertising to promote it’s existing services, which came out when Microsoft announced it was spending $100 million for the ads and other media for their newly released search engine Bing. It may be too early to tell but experts know that ads pay off and is one of the best things one can do to reach new customers. The web giant may have a monopoly on the search market but with many startups out each and every year, they may be in for a ride as they take a bit out of the majority of shares it has been holding on to.
