Google’s WebApps Safe and Secure?

googlewebappsMany people have been questioning the security and safety of information uploaded into the Google Servers or into the cloud. Cloud computing has long been in the works with some people working and using it without even knowing about it. Why, the major promoters are using it to test the technology and to see if they can address most of the issues before they go mainstream, taking the rest of the internet with it. The question is whether these data centers that would be making up the new cloud network would be safe from what? A nuclear explosion, an earthquake or whatever we may be able to throw at it.
Google has been one trusted but enigmatic company with data centers hidden from the rest of the world as if they didn’t exist. But we all know they do exist with the leakage of one single picture on a popular internet technology website showing all the banks of servers contained in what looks like a 40-footer shipping container. Is it safe, will it provide enough protection for the data stored within? That may be an answer that is well, in the clouds.
