In a bold move, the same company has released the source code for the said browser extension turning it into an open-sourced venture to which developers and users alike can improve on. This overtakes Microsoft in their bid to do the same with projects that are under development. Google is the premier pioneer when it comes to implementing and adopting the move to take online applications offline allowing continued productivity even if the network is down. This eventuality has made the Google gears project ideal for implementing CRM solutions for enterprise and is currently slowly being adopted by many.
